Question Answer

I have received an "Internal Error" message. What should I do?

We would greatly appreciate you activating the Error Reporting option at this time, so that we can track and fix the error. To do this, go to the Internet page of the Options window and activate the "Automatically check for newer versions" and "Automatic error reporting" settings.

In order to solve this problem, the first thing you should do, would be to make sure you have the latest version, as this problem may have already been fixed. To do this, please visit the Download section of the BurstCopy website (www.burstcopy.com/download).

In some rare cases, it could help to just restore the application to its default settings. To do this, press the Defaults button on the Options window.

BurstCopy has been so designed as to make file loss impossible. The only possible data loss scenarios, although improbable, would be a defective hard-drive, or rogue-applications (such as viruses). Please note that none of these situations could under any circumstance be caused by BurstCopy.
